The platform planning and development stages are managed by us in a professional ongoing dialogue with the staff of classification institutes that will further accompany the construction stage, while all the coordination, supervision, and monitoring work will be carried out directly with us.
Under the strict requirements of leading classification institutes which are members of the International Association of Classification Societies (IACS), the platform, its materials and components, including the system of fish cages, must meet the standards for the following planning and engineering issues, among other things:
- Meet pressure and hydrodynamic conditions that apply to marine vessels, its materials, components and systems.
- Meet environmental conditions – waves, winds, high & low tides, changing physical forces, etc.
- Buoyancy capability test in variable environmental conditions.
- Survivability in natural disasters, such as earthquakes and tsunamis.
- Meet material strengths, survivability against chemical processes, material interactions, erosion, etc.
- Personnel – meet maritime living conditions, storage conditions, passageway dimensions, etc.
- Crew security – meet security requirements – escape routes, lifeboats, helicopter pad, etc.
- Transportation, mobility, towing – comply with all standards pertaining to these issues.
- Storage – comply with all standards pertaining to storage on vessels.
